Hey just a real quick note to let you know I received the caps yesterday and am duly impressed with their craftsmanship and, of course, their utility. They look as good in real life as your website promised. In fact, a little too good; my wife will likely be stealing the pretty one from me to wear for herself on the rare occassions when I’m not donning it this winter. The ear flap actually fully insulates in the way it’s supposed to. For whatever reason I’m particularly susceptible to ear-infections so this feature is crucial since, as a messenger, I’m on my bike nine hours a day, five days a week and can’t afford to get sick. I love my Little-package cycling cap. I have had it for about three weeks and I wear it constantly. I have found that it wicks moisture on rides to dinner, the bar, or just around town like a champ. Maybe I will get a heavier one for the winter. I get compliments on my cap almost every time I wear it. Thanks for making these in such high quality and yet still so affordable. The King of the Mountain cap is truly the best cycling cap ever. Classy, practical, very well made, with perfect fit and ultra cool design. I am actually thinking of getting a second so I have one to wear when the other one is in the laundry pile. Caroline’s caps are beautiful, stylish, and perfectly tailored. I have a light- weight cap from her that I wore all summer long. Despite its appearing fragility due to the thin quality of the fabric, it is still as strong as it was when I first received it in the mail- even after washing. Her work is durable. I ordered this as a cycling cap, but love it so much that it now lives in my car. It’s perfect for walking the dogs in 20 deg weather, gives some warmth and the bill keeps the light rain off my glasses. The ear flaps are perfect for adding just a wee bit of warmth and they are long enough to cover my ears, never had a hat that could say that about before. It also looks smashing.
I think this woman should be stopped, I’m addicted. I’ve just put an order in for my fourth cap.

Got my first (yes, I say my first, as I expect there to be a few more) a couple weeks ago. Its a custom, a gift from my g/f. LOVE IT! Got it with a longer bill than usual, works great with the laid back position on the recumbent. The earflap is long enough to cover ALL of the ears and far down the back of the neck. Better coverage than a standard wool beanie cap. Just purchased one as a gift for a friend, and now to put my mind to a couple custom ideas.

I just got the World Champion hat, which I couldn’t resist because the rainbow stitching under the brim was such a unique and clever detail. This is my third Little Package hat and I can say that I am nothing but completely pleased with the crafts(wo)manship. I have had other hats, both commercial and handmade, and LP hats are just a cut above in quality of construction. My non-LP hats got kind of dumpy and blobby looking long before they were anywhere close to wearing out. My LP hats are wearing very well and I have found the fit of both the 3 panel and 4 panels styles to be very good.

Oh, man! I love these caps! I’ve got two five panel caps and just ordered a wool earflap cap for my winter riding. I can’t take them off. I have a hard time finding caps that fit well and mine fit perfectly. The fabric is soft and wonderful and they look classic as hell. There is nothing better than a handmade item. I might need to get another with that blue ear flap fabric you have. ‘Cause you never know when orange ear flaps will not keep you warm enough and you need to resort to blue flaps.

By far the nicest caps I’ve ever seen. My first was in one of the soft but sturdy light wool flannels with wool earflaps. The fabric was superb, the build amazing, and the (custom) fit totally comfortable. The band fits the head with no pressure points, and is sewn to lie thin and flat under a helmet. The bill doesn’t scrunch under the helmet or fold down over my shades. Amazing. The second cap is cotton, just as nice, every stitch perfect. As an aspiring randonnuer and living in Washington, DC, I regularly read http://chasingmailboxes.com. I’m not sure if you are familiar with the blog, but the author covers all things about rando and commuting cycling, very well written. I also enjoy cycling hats and riding in the cold, but have a difficult time finding a winter hat that covers my ears sufficiently. I own a Rapha winter hat. It is a little too heavy for 30 degree temperatures and my ears are not covered. Rather annoying for a hat that costs $60 something or another (at least I purchased mine on sale).
As I was reading the Chasing Mailboxes blog and the author suggested your hats, I thought I would try one. I love wool, I love things made by one man/woman shops who you can write emails to directly, and I love cycling caps. Your earflap cap covered my ears more than sufficiently, breathed well, and for all intents and purposes disappeared on my ride. This is the highest praise I can give to a product’s design and production.
Thank you so much for making such a lovely product! Although I own about 10 cycling caps, they are easily collectable and rather useful. As Spring and Summer is around the corner, I look forward to see your new patterns and designs. Thank you again!

I just received the King of the Mountain cycling cap. It was a perfect fit! Most of all it’s extremely comfortable, light and collapsible. I couldn’t be more impressed. The KOTM’s not only stylish, has meaning (Polka Dot Jersey) but also makes contributions to the North West Trail Alliance! I will definitely come back again for my cycling caps. Caroline’s also an extremely honest seller. She refunded me the difference in shipping fee, for how much I’ve paid and how much it cost.

I love my Little-package cycling cap. I have had it for about three weeks and I wear it constantly. I have found that it wicks moisture on rides to dinner, the bar, or just around town like a champ. Maybe I will get a heavier one for the winter. I get compliments on my cap almost every time I wear it. Thanks for making these in such high quality and yet still so affordable. By the way, shipping was super fast, I ordered late on Wed night and it arrived at my door in Tennessee on Saturday.

The King of the Mountain cap is truly the best cycling cap ever. Classy, practical, very well made, with perfect fit and ultra cool design. I am actually thinking of getting a second so I have one to wear when the other one is in the laundry pile. I will definitely want one of your tropical weight wool caps when you’re able to re-stock them for those not necessarily super cold but usually pretty rainy San Francisco winters. Maybe a spare too. . .
I just received my custom cap from Little Package and it’s completely outstanding! It looks great and fits like a glove. I used reclaimed Harris Tweed from a jacket I bought for $5. The whole process was great, from the time I emailed Caroline with the idea, until the product arrived. I am very particular and Caroline answered all my questions with the greatest of ease (she can leap tall buildings too). I highly recommend Little Package, you can’t go wrong.

Caroline’s caps are beautiful, stylish, and perfectly tailored. I have a light- weight cap from her that I wore all summer long. Despite its appearing fragility due to the thin quality of the fabric, it is still as strong as it was when I first received it in the mail- even after washing. Her work is durable. I ordered and just received her Ear Flap #5 cap, and I’m already in love with this one also. I am coming up with excuses to go ride my bicycle because of this lovely lady’s handiwork.

I ordered this as a cycling cap, but love it so much that it now lives in my car. It’s perfect for walking the dogs in 20 deg weather, gives some warmth and the bill keeps the light rain off my glasses. The ear flaps are perfect for adding just a wee bit of warmth and they are long enough to cover my ears, never had a hat that could say that about before. It also looks smashing.
I think this woman should be stopped, I’m addicted. I’ve just put an order in for my fourth cap.
Got my first (yes, I say my first, as I expect there to be a few more) a couple weeks ago. Its a custom, a gift from my g/f. LOVE IT! Got it with a longer bill than usual, works great with the laid back position on the recumbent. The earflap is long enough to cover ALL of the ears and far down the back of the neck. Better coverage than a standard wool beanie cap. Just purchased one as a gift for a friend, and now to put my mind to a couple custom ideas.
I love my King of the Mountain cap, I fits perfectly for my almost GIGANTIC head thanks to a small adjustment that was made just for me.
I was amazed with the level of detail that Caroline put in to the making of the cap and selling/packing/shipping of the cap. The effort that she puts in to all aspects of her caps made the experience special .

I just got the World Champion hat, which I couldn’t resist because the rainbow stitching under the brim was such a unique and clever detail. This is my third Little Package hat and I can say that I am nothing but completely pleased with the crafts(wo)manship. I have had other hats, both commercial and handmade, and LP hats are just a cut above in quality of construction. My non-LP hats got kind of dumpy and blobby looking long before they were anywhere close to wearing out. My LP hats are wearing very well and I have found the fit of both the 3 panel and 4 panels styles to be very good.
I have a number of Little Package caps. Caroline is my go-to-gal. She’s doing a series of custom caps for my team right now and we are all super excited. She makes awesome caps, what’s more to say?
Simply put, you need one of these caps. Caroline is the best, and the fit, style, and workmanship of her caps are second to none. In a weird way, I wish she made all of my clothes.

I got my KOTM cap today and have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. The construction was great and the fit was even better – it definitely exceeded my expectations! The packaging alone told me this was made with TLC. I have a cap collection (Rapha, Assos, Campy, etc.) but this may very well become my favorite. Oh, man! I love these caps! I’ve got two five panel caps and just ordered a wool earflap cap for my winter riding. I can’t take them off. I have a hard time finding caps that fit well and mine fit perfectly. The fabric is soft and wonderful and they look classic as hell. There is nothing better than a handmade item. Caroline is awesome to work with. She’s great at what she does. I’m now a loyal Little Package customer.

I also love my fancy wool cap. It immediately went into the cedar chest to keep it away from moths until it needs to be called into action next fall. I might need to get another with that blue ear flap fabric you have. ‘Cause you never know when orange ear flaps will not keep you warm enough and you need to resort to blue flaps.

By far the nicest caps I’ve ever seen. My first was in one of the soft but sturdy light wool flannels with wool earflaps. The fabric was superb, the build amazing, and the (custom) fit totally comfortable. The band fits the head with no pressure points, and is sewn to lie thin and flat under a helmet. The bill doesn’t scrunch under the helmet or fold down over my shades. Amazing. The second cap is cotton, just as nice, every stitch perfect. Thanks for a wonderful product (and amazing, friendly, personalized service).
I have three superb caps from Caroline and they are among my most beloved possessions! She does excellent work, and was a joy to talk to discussing my extra warm winter cap. As an aspiring randonnuer and living in Washington, DC, I regularly read http://chasingmailboxes.com. I’m not sure if you are familiar with the blog, but the author covers all things about rando and commuting cycling, very well written. I also enjoy cycling hats and riding in the cold, but have a difficult time finding a winter hat that covers my ears sufficiently. I own a Rapha winter hat. It is a little too heavy for 30 degree temperatures and my ears are not covered. Rather annoying for a hat that costs $60 something or another (at least I purchased mine on sale).
As I was reading the Chasing Mailboxes blog and the author suggested your hats, I thought I would try one. I love wool, I love things made by one man/woman shops who you can write emails to directly, and I love cycling caps. Your earflap cap covered my ears more than sufficiently, breathed well, and for all intents and purposes disappeared on my ride. This is the highest praise I can give to a product’s design and production.
