Mile 929.5. The South side of Donohue Pass with JMT hikers (another breed of hiker).
Speed thru-hiker Anish passed me here; she is trying to break Scott Williamson’s PCT record this year. She was wearing a skirt and had a tiny lil’ pack, and was not very talkative. I found out later from Cherub that she had a time budget for talking to other hikers each day. I wasn’t part of that budget, but Cherub was proud to report that she HAD been part of Anish’s budget, and got in a good ~10 minute chat.
