Nailed It

Sometimes when you feel like your day couldn’t be worse or your life any more strange, you look up on the mantle of an old family friend’s house you’re staying at and realize the terrifying painting there is you. This terrifying portrait is in fact of me on my pepère’s sailboat, in my rain gear, some 22 years ago. I will have nightmares.
