Neenameeshee

The coveted Palisade Crest from Mount Sill, 14,159 feet. The native Paiute Indians called “Sill” Nen-i-mish or Neenameeshee: “Guardian of the Valley,” and worshipped it as the other half of Half Dome. I was feeling it. Isn’t it beautiful? Smoke from the Rough Fire.
