Lake Owens

View of Lake Owens from the Inyo Mountains near Cerro Gordo, the day the rains let up. It’s very, very unusual to see so much (and yet still so little) water in the lake, since the aqueduct drains it. Clouds cling to the tips of the Sierra mountains, formed off the snow as it warms.
