Cycling Cap Sewing Pattern Bundle
Get both of the classic Little Package cycling cap sewing patterns in one convenient bundle, and sew yourself and loved ones the sweetest hats ever worn on a bike. Read more below.
People tend to have a hard time choosing between the 3-panel and 4-panel bike cap patterns. The only difference, unless your head is particularly round (4-panel) or particularly long and skinny (3-panel) is personal style preference. Also, each pattern comes with a different shaped bill.
If you’re stuck, why not just buy both at a discount, and decide later? Or mix-and-match later! You can make a 3-panel hat with the sport bill that comes with the 4-panel pattern, or a 4-panel cap with the short peak that comes with the 3-panel pattern.
The instructions included with theses pattern are illustrated and step-by-step. The instructions are so complete that in over ten years of selling the pattern, I have literally fielded 2 (two!) questions about a sewing step. Yet I continue to get photographs of happy people in shiny new homemade cycling caps! Even if you are a beginner sewer with a needle and thread, you can move through these instructions and come out with a cap, and a lot of new sewing skills!

Notes on this PDF download
Your files will be available immediately through a “download” link after you check out. The download link is also accessible via your receipt email. After 90 days this link will expire, so make sure to download the file and keep it in a safe spot on your drive.
All pages print within the margins of letter-sized (8.5 x 11 inch) or A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inch) paper, borderless or not. One pattern piece is larger and must be cut as two pieces and taped back together, but that is easy to figure out and simple to do.
On printing your copies, make sure your printer is set to print the pattern at 100%. Sometimes a printer will default to a “scale to fit” setting — you probably don’t want that unless you know you want to make a larger or smaller size cap. You can compare the gauge on the last two pages of the document to a ruler to tell for sure if your pattern is to the default “one-size” 100% scale or not.
If you have questions about the file, or even technical questions about printing, feel free to contact me as I am happy to help. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to troubleshoot your particular operating system and printer for you, but I will at the very least ensure you receive your file.
